AFL Fans Still Without Any Idea What “JLT” Stands For

In what can only be described as Australia’s most ineffective marketing campaign seen since Anthony Koutoufides’ ambassadorship for the Souvlaki Hut, a new report surveying the nation’s awareness of the preseason comp’s official sponsor has revealed that few AFL fans, if any, can actually spell out its full name, let alone describe the services that it offers.

“JLT, I think they do accounting or something?” said one respondent.

The firm is rumoured to be a multinational insurance broker and risk management consultancy that claimed the naming rights to the AFL preseason competition last year, though this remains news to many survey participants.

“I’ve been calling it the Wizard Home Loans Cup, what’s this about BLT?” said another respondent.
