GWS Confiscate Passports Of Entire Playing List

Following the escape of emerging forward Cam McCarthy late last week, GWS officials have taken the extraordinary measure of confiscating players’ passports in an effort to block further unauthorised travel.

Rumours of growing unrest among the younger midfielders have forced the board’s hand in ticking off the dramatic move, with the club taking every precaution to prevent its players being exposed to the beautiful life beyond the cold and miserable walls of Western Sydney.

When pressed on how confiscating passports could possibly stop footballers moving across state borders, club officials reasoned that it is actually just one part of its new foolproof player retention strategy. Other measures include installing a high-voltage electric fence around the training base and banning all forms of western media in the players’ cells.
